While Ethel is away sometimes Fred comes and stands by and watches the eggs....well today I managed to get a picture of them both at the nest.
I think it takes about 2 weeks for eggs to hatch so we must be getting close.  CLICK on photo to see larger...you kinda have to look close to figure it out. Mom is nestled in the nest and Dad is standing on side. Trackbacks

oh dear! I'm afraid we've been seeing some of Fred and Mabel's nieces and nephews this side of the pond - mostly in the grip of LILLY'S TEETH!
We dread this time of year! such tiny tiny baby birds! Hope yours keep their family safe from local cats! Happy sewing! Sue ps hows the quilting coming along? |
