Took off this morning and drove to Ark City
and along the Arkansas River to Kaw Oklahoma
Was warm with a little wind but really a great day considering its january30.
The road closed sign was on the other side of the bridge NONE on our side
Holiday today so we got to take care of the kids OH WHAT FUN WE HAD
First we made each one a bandana then we baked cookies
After lunch we went on a hike on the river
We picked up rocks and sticks and shells
saw birds and bird tracks and eagles
came home and made potato soup for supper
GREAT DAY!
