Saturday, December 27. 20082008 CHRISTMASThis is the first year we haven't had children to open presents in 46 years. OH GEESH, I'm gonna bawl again....HA Of course the "early years" we had Randy, then we had Grandaughter Tara and then each year we added another Great Grandchild for a total of 3. Christmas morning has always been waiting around for the phone call to come open presents and have breakfast it was always "hectic, chaotic, a mess but most of all fun" This year we didnt' have any batteries to install or things to assemble No christmas wrap and bows all over the place Instead we had a very quiet relaxing day Randy and Nova came over for dinner and I guess I forgot that I wasn't cooking for the whole gang cause I seemed to cook just as much oh well we luv leftovers Our gifts included for me a beautiful butterfly magnet and a pair of gorgeous sterling silver with blue stones butterfly earrings. Husband got lottery tickets (he luvs $$$$$) Later in the afternoon we got to see and talk to the kids on the webcam...which isn't perfect but its better than not being able to see them All in all it really turned out to be a nice day...just different...and I'm finding that "OLD FOLKS" just don't adjust to change
